Commitment to sustainability :

Lime Firms' head office is located on a farm in mid-Wales.

As well as running livestock on this mixed working farm, trees are being planted and managed. Trees are a valuable carbon ‘sink‘ - capturing and storing carbon dioxide - mitigating to some extent the emission burden of our business.

The farm also operates the Countryside Council for Wales countryside management scheme.

Commitment to environment :

Lime Firms has been awarded Level 2 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard.

We aim to work towards higher levels of the Standard by following these key elements of our Environmental Policy :

• Prevention of pollution through careful storage of materials and by keeping our CO2 emissions to a minimum in order to reduce what we consider to be our key environment impact
• Compliance with environmental legislation
• Continual environmental improvement through regular reviews of our Improvement Plan and Policy and by taking appropriate action
• Encouraging our suppliers and customers to share our environmental
  philosophy through regular dialogue.

Commitment to community :

Lime Firms sponsors The Big Issue Cymru, to assist with its stated aim of "helping homeless people to help themselves by giving them the opportunity to earn a legitimate income, gain financial stability and increase their self-esteem".
